# iSend SMS Integration with Novu

> Connect iSend SMS to Novu to send SMS notifications through workflows. Store your iSend API token, optional sender ID, and content type in the Novu dashboard.

You can use [iSend SMS](https://send.com.ly/developers/docs) to send SMS messages through Novu.

## Getting started

1. Create or log in to your iSend account.
2. Copy your **API Token** from the developer settings.
3. Optionally set a default sender ID if your account supports one.

## Creating an iSend SMS integration with Novu

1. Visit the [Integrations](https://dashboard.novu.co/integrations?utm_campaign=docs-sms-isend) page on Novu.
2. Click **Add a provider**.
3. Locate **iSend SMS** under the SMS section and click **Connect**.
4. Enter your:
   * **API Token**
   * **Default Sender ID** (optional)
   * **Content Type** (`Default`, `Unicode`, or `Plain` when your traffic needs a specific encoding)
5. Confirm **Active Integration** is on. New integrations start active by default.
6. Click **Create Integration**.

You can now send SMS notifications with iSend SMS through Novu.
