# smsmode SMS Integration with Novu

> Connect smsmode to Novu to send SMS notifications through workflows. Store your smsmode API key and sender in the Novu dashboard.

You can use [smsmode](https://dev.smsmode.com/sms/v1/#tag/Message/operation/send-message) to send SMS messages through Novu.

## Getting started

1. Log in to your smsmode account.
2. Copy your **API Key** from the smsmode developer settings.
3. Confirm the sender ID or number smsmode allows for your account.

## Creating an smsmode integration with Novu

1. Visit the [Integrations](https://dashboard.novu.co/integrations?utm_campaign=docs-sms-smsmode) page on Novu.
2. Click **Add a provider**.
3. Locate **smsmode** under the SMS section and click **Connect**.
4. Enter your:
   * **API Key**
   * **From** (approved sender)
5. Confirm **Active Integration** is on. New integrations start active by default.
6. Click **Create Integration**.

You can now send SMS notifications with smsmode through Novu.
