You can use the Infobip provider to send SMS messages to your customers using the Novu Platform with a single API to create multi-channel experiences.
Novu’s Infobip integration only supports the SMS and Email channels. Infobip’s WhatsApp, Viber, and Voice channels are not exposed through this integration. To send WhatsApp messages through Novu, use the WhatsApp Business or Twilio integrations instead.

Setting up Infobip

Get your API Key

  1. Sign up or Log in to your Infobip account
  2. On the Homepage, you’ll see your API key
Alternatively, you can find your API key in the Developer Tools:
  1. Click on Developer Tools in the left sidebar
  2. Select API Keys from the dropdown menu
  1. Click on Generate API Key to create a new key

Get your Base URL

Log in to your account and check your Homepage. You should see your base URL in this format: xxxxx.api.infobip.com.

Connect Infobip to Novu

  1. Visit the Integrations page on Novu
  2. Click the “Add a provider” button
  3. Locate Infobip under the SMS section and click on the Connect button
  4. Enter your:
    • Infobip API Key
    • Base URL
  5. Click on the Disabled button and mark it as Active
  6. Click on the Connect button
Now you can send SMS notifications using Infobip in Novu.
