You can use RingCentral to send SMS messages through Novu.

Getting started

Create a RingCentral developer app and collect OAuth-style credentials plus a JWT for the user or extension that owns the SMS-capable number.
  1. Open the RingCentral Developer Console.
  2. Create or select an app with SMS permissions.
  3. Copy the app Client ID and Client secret.
  4. Create a JWT token for a user that can send SMS from the chosen number.
  5. Decide whether you are using production or the sandbox environment.

Creating a RingCentral integration with Novu

  1. Visit the Integrations page on Novu.
  2. Click Add a provider.
  3. Locate RingCentral under the SMS section and click Connect.
  4. Enter your:
    • Client ID
    • Client secret
    • JWT token
    • Is sandbox (enable this only for RingCentral sandbox)
    • From (RingCentral phone number in E.164 format)
  5. Confirm Active Integration is on. New integrations start active by default.
  6. Click Create Integration.
You can now send SMS notifications with RingCentral through Novu.
